QUOTING:
From the time of initial inquiry, your dedicated Customer Concierge will take the time to understand your requirements and ensure we get your order right from the start. Offering value-engineering initiatives, they will communicate with you every step of the way. One third of the data packs we receive contain elements or features that need clarification. We’ll enlist our MCL Technical Experts to help you achieve the best, most cost-effective design for prototype AND volume production. Once we have all of the technical specifications, we can turn your quote around within in 24 hours- often times in the same day.
ENGINEERING:
Our Technical Experts are trained in designing for manufacturability. We are focused on evaluating that your design is optimized for volume production while at the same time providing a design that meets prototype requirements to eliminate the trouble and time of significant redesign when transitioning from prototype to production. We put your project through through a 56 point Design for Manufacturability (DFM) inspection checklist. This checklist evaluates design efficiencies for manufacturing including minimum trace and space, minimum hole size and aspect ratio, layer stack-up distribution and impedance concerns. Within 24 hours of the PO, our technical team will return any engineering questions back to you.
MANUFACTURING:
Selecting the right manufacturing partners is critical for a quality product. We have deep, long-standing relationships with our manufacturing factories and team members onsite working alongside our manufacturing partners. We perform frequent audits to ensure the best quality, delivery, and communications. MCL’s innovation and expertise allows us to be more than a PCB provider, but a seasoned extension of your team.
We own the relationship between the customer and factory at a deeper level than a smaller PCB buyer could develop to expedite communication and production. We also leverage our large PCB spend and technical expertise, to deliver superior performance & support.
MCL has relationships with multiple factories to ensure unlimited capacity and employ a right-fit approach to manage your risk. Our customers’ PCBs are never produced by the lowest bidder out of a large pool of factories. We evaluate and utilize each factory for only the technology and volume that they can manufacture reliably to ensure we meet performance expectations and deliver the lowest total cost board.
LOGISTICS:
As your job moves through the production process, your dedicated Customer Concierge communicates daily with our logistics and factory team to keep you up to date on progress in real time and maintain an on time delivery. In addition, our custom ERP system interacts with the factories in real time. If unforeseen problems occur, we proactively communicate so all parties involved are aware of the progress being made to resolve the problem.
